Court House Steps!

Even though the property I was interested in was pulled from the auction, I decided to go see how things worked at the Foreclosure Auction on the Fulton County Court House steps. It was absolutely fascinating! You definitely need to know what you are doing there! I just stood next to a couple of the criers and watched the whole process, all the way to the winner endorsing the checks over to the crier. I will be much better prepared for the next auction.
After that, I went to a lunch hosted by Auction.com at Cakes and Ale in Decatur. I made a couple of comments during the presentation and afterward people were asking me for my card afterward. I told them that I am learning with them - but I am so impressed with how much information is out there from GA REIA, reading, listening to Bigger Pockets Pod Casts and talking to people! I have been at this for just a month, but I have learned a TON!
Later in the day I met with a wholesaler. I found him by responding to one of his For Sale By Owner ads on Craigs' List. I really liked him. I heard that the company can be shady, but so far I haven't seen that from him yet! After my last experience with "my" realtor, I am trying my best to only work with people that I feel good around and are in it for the long haul with me - not just looking for a quick buck. So far, I have been happy with my choices!
